Marc Werkmeister is a Certified Financial Planner™ and Managing Partner at Professional Financial Advisors. He works with individuals, families, and business owners throughout North Platte and across Nebraska to design thoughtful retirement and investment strategies built on clarity, discipline, and long-term perspective.

Since joining PFA in 2010, Marc has helped shape the firm’s investment philosophy and retirement income planning approach. His research and analysis play a central role in developing the long-term strategies the firm uses to guide clients through changing markets and evolving life goals. Marc believes that sound financial planning should reduce stress — not add to it — and strives to ensure clients understand not only what their plan is, but why it works.

Marc is also committed to financial education beyond the office. His goal is to help people make informed decisions with confidence rather than reacting emotionally to short-term headlines.

A graduate of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s College of Business Administration, Marc earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with distinction. He obtained his Certified Financial Planner™ designation in 2012 and remains committed to continuing education to stay current in an evolving industry.

Originally from rural Nebraska, Marc’s background in farming, real estate, and business provides him with a well-rounded perspective that resonates with many Nebraska families and business owners. He believes integrity, transparency, and sound judgment are foundational to building long-term client relationships.

Outside of the office, Marc enjoys spending time with his family and staying connected to the local community. He has served as a North Platte Chamber Ambassador and 2026 President, a North Platte Public School Foundation member, and is a member of the Lake Maloney Golf Board.
